Editorial: Impeachment

Impeaching a president is a grave undertaking. It is not taken lightly and should not be dimished by name calling. Instead, we ought  to listen to the public servants who are lined up to testify and explain to the American public what they know.
For the sake of this nation and what it stands for, we all owe it to each other and our fellow citizens to be focused on being open to absorb the facts, making sure we are open to not only hear but truly listen to what witnesses will say in the televised impeachment hearings and then fairly judge on what is bogus and what is the truth.
It is not a circus.
It is a very somber and sad occasion.
Let’s listen to the facts as they are presented.
Can we all agree on that? —D.H.—
