Julia Rose Aliqatauraq Ramoth
On Sunday, March 11, 1990, parents Emma Goodwin and Clyde Ramoth Sr. were blessed with Julia Rose Aliqatauraq Ramoth in Anchorage, AK. She passed peacefully with mama Emma by her side, on April 27, 2021.
Julia was lovingly raised in Nome and Selawik, AK.
She grew up with her siblings, cousins and many friends, enjoying the outdoors and keeping busy. Julia carried the most beautiful smile and embraced those close to her, with a tight, loving hug. She was strong, extra fun and stubborn at times. Julia was a quick learner, smart and creative in all that she did. She was helpful and so thoughtful, especially with her family and close friends.
Julia was with her mom Emma, during the birth of her twin sisters MacKenzie and Hailey. She was so proud and loved them dearly, as she helped her mom raise them. She was blessed, as she appreciated and loved her daddy Buddy.
Julia was very close and loved spending time with her Aana Emma. Julia was named after her great grandmother, Julia Aliqatauraq Loon. She was passionate and once she had her mind set, she accepted challenges with confidence. She was inquisitive, brave and very outspoken. She loved learning cultural activities from her Aana Emma and enjoyed spending majority of her time at Uutauraq camp during her summers. She excelled at subsistence activities, including harvesting fish and berry picking. She was a hard worker and created healthy competition with her cousins. They encouraged one another with their chores and subsistence activities. She loved challenges and didn’t let her small stature prevent her from doing anything – for a summer she learned to care and feed her Uncle Luke’s dog team all on her own.
We will all remember Julia’s bright smile, determined, fearless and spirited personality, replay how much she loved to talk, hear her contagious laughter and feel the unconditional love she had for her family and close friends.
Julia blessed her family with a gorgeous and precious baby girl, Emmaline Rosemarie Panitchaq Agnaq Ramoth. Just like Julia, her beautiful smile lights up the room and she is so smart. From Emmaline with love and comfort, “I know it is hard that my Julia Mom passed away, but we can talk to her in heaven anytime.”
