Frank Andrews Sr.

Frank Andrews, Sr. was born on April 8, 1973 in Nome, Alaska to the late Matthew Andrews, Sr. and late Esther Andrews (Hunt).

Frank passed away in his home on May 15, 2024 in St. Michael, Alaska where he resided for the past few years. Previously, he resided in Kotlik, Alaska with his mother for a number of years before she passed away.

Frank grew up in St. Michael along with his two older brothers Brian and Matthew “Buddy” Jr.

Frank was always joking around with his friends. He enjoyed playing games on his phone. He always texted Buddy when he needed something. Buddy will miss his calls and texts.

Frank has four children: Dawnelle, Amber, Frank Jr. and Destiny.

Frank is survived by his four children: Dawnelle, Amber, Frank, Jr. and Destiny; brothers Brian and spouse Phyllis Andrews and their children and grandchildren; and Matthew Andrews, Jr. and his children and grandchildren; paternal aunts and uncles Luci and spouse Albert Washington; Anna Matthias; Viola Evan; Laura and spouse Charles Weingartner; Dora Bell; Brenda and spouse Jerry Ivanoff; Pete and spouse Nancy Andrews; Constantine Johnson, and Lawrence Lockwood, Jr.; Maternal aunts and uncles: Liz and spouse Roman Andrew, Dominic and spouse Lala Hunt, and Frank and spouse Della Hunt; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Esther Andrews and father Matthew Andrews, Sr.; his maternal grandparents Frank and Maggie Hunt; paternal grandparents Anthony and Zita Andrews; maternal uncles Gabe Yunak, Cyril Hunt and Charles Hunt; his maternal aunt Louise Yunak; paternal uncles Martin Andrews, Sr. and John Evan; maternal aunts Mary Cheemuk, Kathy Johnson, and Doris Lockwood.
