Deon Willie Shaquelle Hunt “Tukaan”

Deon Willie Shaquelle Hunt “Tukaan” was born to Josephine and Joseph Hunt on August 22, 1996 in Nome, Alaska. Deon left his earthly home on June 5, 2026 while living in Anchorage, Alaska.
Deon lived in Anchorage for many years. He enjoyed riding, watching movies, cooking, cleaning, being around family, and helping with and being there for his nieces.
Deon leaves behind his father Joseph and spouse Pauline; sisters Joelle and Joelyn; brothers Kenneth Acoman III, Justin Hunt and Edmond Akaran; his nieces Cyrilene and Za’niyah; grandmother Bernadette Joe and partner Bill Hawkins; uncles Richard, spouse Shirley and family; Johnathan and Warren Elachik; Andrew Hunt, Jr., spouse Martina and family; Martin and Anthony Hunt; Aunts Edna Savetilik and family; Bibianna Prince; Zena Kilangak, Flora Matthias, spouse Albert and family;  Lena Galindo (whom he called mom), spouse Jose and family; and Mattie Katchatag, spouse Joseph and family; great aunts Millie Aketachunak and family, and Janie Teeluk and family.  
Deon is preceded in death by his mother Josephine; brother Joseph II; grand(mom) Loraine Tom; maternal grandfather Victor Joe and Joseph Elachik; paternal grandparents Andrew Sr. & Sophie Hunt; aunts Justina Teeluk and Irene Akaran; uncles Joseph Joe and Daniel Teeluk, cousins Joann and MaryRose Aketachunak.
